Invincibility:

Level select:
Press Left, Right, Up(2), Down, Up, Right, Left at the title screen.

Rapid-fire gun:
Begin game play on level 4 to get to the diagonal platform. Repeatedly press A to keep going on the platform and find a rapid-fire gun.
