Special move selection:
Select Vs. battle mode and choose characters. Press Down, R, Up, L, Y, B on controller two at the stage selection screen. A screen that allows special moves to be toggled will appear.

No special moves for player one:
Power on the SNES, wait until the game music starts, then press Down, R, Up, L, Y, B while the Capcom logo is displayed.

No special moves for either player:
Press Down, R, Up, L, Y, B on controller 2 at the "VS Battle" screen.

Ten star speed:
Power on the SNES, wait until the Turbo logo flashes, then quickly press Down, R, Up, L, Y, B on controller two. The speed may now be set up to the ten star level.

Easy great ending:
Enable the "No special moves" code. Press Down, Right, Up, L, Y + B at the Capcom logo. Set the difficulty level to one star and begin game play. Complete the game to receive the great ending.

Alternate costumes:
In turbo mode, press L, R, A, B, X, or Y on a fighter at the character selection screen for their turbo costumes. If you press Start, they will have their normal costume. In normal mode, press L, R, A, B, X , or Y on a fighter at the character selection screen for their normal costumes. If you press Start, they will have their championship costume.

Character profiles:
Hold L + R on both controllers during the opening screen.

Skip a fighter:
Press Start on controller two then the vs. Screen appears. Use controller two to select the fighter that your character was about to fight, then get an easy victory.

Hint: Easy win with Ryu or Ken:
Select Ryu or Ken as a character. When the round starts, continue to do the Fireball move (Down, Forward, Punch). This will hold your enemy back for awhile. If they get by the fireballs. do the Spinning Kick move (Down, Back, Kick). When they are away, repeat the Fireball attacks. Note: While fighting Honda, Bison, or Blanka, they might fly over the fireballs. Do the Uppercut move to hit them out of the air (Down, Forward, Down/Forward, Punch). This should knock them to the ground. When they are on the ground, get a good distance away from the enemy and continue the Fireball attacks.

Hint: Roll Double Kick:
Play as Dee Jay, Ken, or Ryu. Press Right or Left + A. He will then roll across the arena and double kick your opponent. Note: You can also do the Roll Kick and Backflip Slam.

Hint: Ryu and Ken: Moves:

Spinning Kick: Press Down, Back, Kick.
Fireball: Press Down, Forward, Punch.
Uppercut: Press Down, Forward, Down/Forward, Punch.

Hint: Ryu: Special moves:

Fireball: Press Down, Forward/Down, Forward, Punch.
Dragon Punch: Press Forward, Down, Forward/Down, Punch.
Hurricane Kick: Press Down, Down/Back, Back, Kick.

Hint: Honda: Special moves:

Hundred Hand Slap: Press Punch rapidly.
Sumo Head Butt: Hold Back for two seconds, then press Forward, Punch.
Sumo Smash: Hold Down for two seconds, then press Up, Kick.

Hint: Blanka: Special moves:

Electricity: Press Punch rapidly.
Rolling Attack: Hold Back for two seconds, then press Forward, Punch.
Vertical Rolling Attack: Hold Down for two seconds, then press Up Kick.

Hint: Blanka: Easy Shock move:
This trick requires a controller with a turbo feature. Hold Y to do Blanka's Shock move.

Sonic Boom: Hold Back for two seconds, then press Forward, Punch.
Flash Kick: Hold Down for two seconds, then press Up, Kick.

Turbo Spinning Clothesline: Press any two Kicks rapidly.
Spinning Pile Driver: Rotate D-pad 360 degrees, then press Punch.

Note: Where ever there are Punch or Kick actions in the special moves, you can increase or decrease the strength or speed of the move depending on the button pushed.

B (short): Light Kick

L (fierce): Hard Punch

Hint: Blood on both fighters:
After a fight, the game shows who won with the other person bloody. To see both people bloody, try not to get hit or hit in all the rounds.

Glitch: No cage:
If you choose Vega, he will not be able to climb on a cage in the other stages. Instead, he jumps off of either side of the walls.
Glitch: Sagat's patch:
Start a match with Sagat vs. Sagat. On the versus screen, each Sagat will have his patch on the opposite side. When in a match while fighting Sagat, if you jump over him or if you are Sagat and you jump over the opponent, his patch will go from the left to the right.
