Wallride: Ollie (B) while close and parallel to a wall, then press A.
Wallie: Press B while wallriding.

Bonus characters:
Get all the stats to full for Tony Hawk, complete all goals, and get all gold medals to unlock Mindy and Spider-man.

Pool secret area:
Go to career or free skate mode. Free skate can help you practice. Select the player with the best ollie ability. If you have money, add more points to the boarder's stats. In level select, choose "School II". Skate directly down to the picnic tables. When you are there, skate down and along the wall at the bottom of your screen. Go up the wooden ramp onto the school building. Kickflip onto the next building, then stop. There should be a rail on the roof. You have to grind more than half the rail in order for this to work. A "Open Sez Tc" sign will appear. Go back near the picnic tables. Go through the arrow and into the gym. There is $150 in there.

There is a $100 bill on the high dive in the secret pool area.

Wind-tunnel secret area:
Grind the propeller on the half-pipe to unlock the "wind-tunnel". It is on the other side of the park and contains the secret tape and some money.

Hint: Easier specials:
If you cannot remember your character's specials, or want an easier combination of buttons to press, go to "Edit Tricks" after you select your character. You can change you special moves to different button combinations.

Hint: Reveal specials:
If you do not know a characters specials, go to "Edit Tricks" after you select your character. You can see what the specials are set to.

Hint: Finding the skating lines:
Wait at the start for the demos. Most of the demos show lines that may be hard to find.

Hint: 900+ trick:
This works with most skaters when you do not boost up their stats. Be prepared to do a trick when you go up a vert ramp. When you get up off the ramp, do the trick and immediately press the way you want to rotate ten times. If done correctly, you will do a 900 plus any trick you did. Note: With tricks that contain Up/Left, and Up/Right, you can do a 1080 if you are lucky. When you do this on the Going Down Town gap, you can get a 1260.

Hint: Easy 900:
To do a 900 or more with any character, go up into the air and press Left or Right repeatedly instead of holding in that direction.

Hint: Faster Ollie:
Enable the "Flight mode" code. While in the air, press in the opposite direction (for example, if you are facing a wall press Back), Down, then the direction you where facing (before pressing the opposite direction) and hold the D-pad. If done correctly, your character will turn around then start to turn around back to his original position and keep spinning faster and faster. You can also spin in the other direction by releasing the D-pad, then pressing the opposite direction. For example, if you are holding Left, release then hold Right. Note: It will take awhile for it to spin around faster, so be patient. It usually takes about two minutes.

Hint: Spider-Man: Does What A Spider Can Do:
Press Left, Right, L to do the "Does What A Spider Can Do" move. Spider-Man will get off his board and use his web to get the board back to him.

Hint: Easy Sick score:
Enter the options menu and enable "Kid Mode". Enable the master code to unlock the cheat menu, then enable "Perfect Balance". Start the first level and go over to the halfpipe. When you are about to fly into the air, press A + Up, Down, Left, or Right to do a trick that will give you a lot of points. Only hold it for a few seconds or else you will fall and not get all of those points. When you only have about a minute left, go over to the far side of the halfpipe and onto the edge of the screen. Then, do a grind to the left side and do not press anything. You will go around the level area and will fall off at the starting ramp. You should have about 20 seconds remaining. Do it again. By the time you reach the starting ramp again, time should have run out and you should have a very large score.

Hint: Unlimited tricks:
Enable the "Flight mode" code. While flying, you can do tricks and spin past 900 degrees. You can also do unlimited tricks while flying.

Hint: Rodney Mullen: Freestylin':
Do a Casper To 360 Flip and jump. Land on another Casper To 360 Flip and press Down, Up, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down and so on. You will do a trick called Freestylin'.

Hint: Boston Rooftops: Jumping around:
Enable the "Level select" and "Maximum money" codes. The Rooftops Boston level will be unlocked. You can go from roof to roof by jumping or using the "Flight mode" code. Note: Do not go off the edge or you will restart.

Hint: Boston Rooftops: Never fall:
Between the two halfpipes on the extreme top of the level is a square. Grind it (hold the A button or you will fall). Since the game lets the grind button stay in the middle before moving, you will never fall off.

Hint: Skatestreet: Go up stairs:
Find the stairs near the halfpipe. Jump at the wall and you will go up the stairs.

Glitch: New York: Flying body:
Go to the New York level and enable the "Flight mode" code. When you start the level there is a curb along the street to your right. Grind the curb and fall in the direction of the street. Hold B as you tilt and fall to become an upside down hovering body. You can now fly around by pressing A and B, as you would normally with the flight mode code. If you touch the ground you will get your skateboard back.

Glitch: School: Unlimited tricks in one jump:
There is a double rail on a hill in this level. Go to that rail and do the "Kiss The Rail" move. Your character will get stuck, a big drop sign will appear, and the screen will wobble back and forth. You can do unlimited tricks while you wobble. Note: You cannot continue unless you turn off the game.

Glitch: Warehouse: Unlimited tricks:
You can also get stuck on the helicopter with a Big Drop Sign. You can do unlimited tricks here, however you must turn off the game when done.

Glitch: Floating skater:
Enter tutorial mode and complete the obstacles. Get to the "collect S-K-A-T-E" obstacle and get all the letters but leave "E" for last. When you grind the rail to get the "E" press B to make it appear as if your skater is floating.

Glitch: Disappearing skateboard:
When skating, if you wipeout your skateboard will disappear. When you start skating again it will reappear.
